Alco-Screen and Alco-Screen 02 Controls
The Alco-Screen and Alco-Screen 02 Control solutions can be used to comply with CLIA regulations or to test the viability of both the Alco-Screen and Alco-Screen 02 strip devices. The controls are formulated as a Positive Control and a Negative Control. The Controls will give false results if used on any other test or instrumentation since they are formulated specifically for use with the Alco-Screen and Alco-Screen 02 saliva alcohol testing devices. In the case of the Alco-Screen 02, the DOT requires that a quality control check be done on one or more testing strips with each new ordered box. The controls allow the operator to meet the DOT requirements for conducting quality control checks.
